Thomas Ludwig, member of the working group GECO►C, receives conveyor award of the Aggerverbandes for the best dissertation.
Already since 2001 recompenses the Aggerverband preeminet dissertations in the field of Water economy with a conveyor award. Thomas Ludwig persuaded the jury with his work of optimization of municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants. Besides, he studied Membrane Sewage Plants in which the life span of the membrane should be extended and - at the same time - the flow achievement should be raised. The dynamic simulation of an experimental Membrane Sewage Plant showed an essential aspect of the work by which different operating parameters can be faster optimized. With the help of the simulation model the necessary test procedures can be carried out without danger of the real plant.
