11.12.2008: Conveyor Award of NRW for the GECO►C Simulation Model
The Ministry for the Environment and Conservation, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the State of NRW has lent an Exceptional Science Price to the working group of Prof. Dr. Michael Bongards for the development of a simulation model for Biogas Plants.
Substitutional for the GECO►C working group Dipl.-Ing. Christian Wolf accepted the price. He was mainly responsible for the development of the simulation model which presents an innovation on the Biogas sector in this form. The model, which is applied for implementations, was developed and also tested on the Leppe Disposal in Lindlar. It supports the operator while selecting the best substrate fillings and leads therefore to the optimization of the running Plant. The contents of this project serve Wolf as a basis for his doctoral thesis which he writes at the Irish élite University of Maynooth.
