Peter-Michael Engel, the chairman of the foundation of the same name, has also studied at a FH and appreciates two students for special studies performances in the new master courses of studies. He presented two highly evaluated promoting prices to Daniel Gaida and Sebastian Schramm. Both students had completed her Masterthesis with 1,0.
In the context of the document awarding of the NRW grant program the award of the master students also took place with the best notes of sale. The promoting prices were presented by Peter-Michael Engel themselves in solemn atmosphere into castle Mickeln. Daniel Gaida attained his master of Science in Electrical engineering and information Technology with the note 1,1. He got the best note 1,0 for his master thesis called "Fusion of a newton- based, visual Tracking method by Kalman filtration with inertial measuring data". Gaida is a scientific assistent of the GECO►C research group since 2009 and he is doing his doctorate parallel at the University of Leiden. Sebastian Schramm completed his master of Science in engineering with the overall grade 1,3. For his master thesis "Simulation and HIL tests of chilled Photovoltaik modules as a heat source for 3 kW of heat pumps" Schramm got the best mark of 1,0. Since 2006 he is also a scientific employee.
