In the Lang-academy in Lindlar experts discussed with various guests on the future of renewable energy in Lindlar. The basic question here was whether Lindlar could be powered 100 percent by renewable energy. In an entertaining presentation Professor Dr. Michael Bongards of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences pointed out on the environmental ethics standards that should guide the actions of engineers today. "The scientific explanation has destroyed the fear and humility before Nature largely. But the modern climate disasters bring us the respect of nature back in," he explains.
As experts were loaded: Manfred Stern of the "Round table for peace and justice Lindlar", Thomas Willmer, EGL Lindlar, Dipl.-Ing. Detmar Schauburg, board of management of the development association ZebiO, Sebastian Dietz, land- und energy farmer, Rüdiger Dzuban, ONI Wärmetrafo and Dipl.-Ing. Adrian Wieland, energy consultant, geladen. Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Brombach of consulting work, "Dreizeit" moderated the event. He also informed the forum on regional initiatives, current technology and funding opportunities.
