Despite the still delicate, political situation in Kyrgyzstan, Prof. Dr. Bongards paid a visit to his old acquaintances in Kyrgyzstan. Due to the political change in the country and the changes connected to that, many positions were filled newly in the country, also at the university. Nevertheless, the willingness to scientific cooperation with the Cologne University of Applied Sciences is still great.
Prof. Bongards perceived rather "a general spirit of optimism". Thus, in-depth discussions, further projects are planned and discussed. The head of the research group GECO►C was more than satisfied with the results of his visit and was optimistic about the future.
