Together with the Pakistani engineer Dr. M. Yaqub Chughtai Prof. Dr. Bongards plans the building of a biogas plant in Pakistan. In the context of a research project a scientific cooperation with local resident universities and farmers is to develop there.
The purpose of this project will be the construction of a fermentation gas arrangement as well as the matching transport of knowledge. The local farmers, mainly engaged in animal husbandry will be familiarized with the function and operation of a biogas plant. The necessary know-how will be passed on to training at Pakistani universities to local students. This ensures that the improvements can be maintained permanently in the country.
