15.-17.06.2011: Visit of an international fair in Turkey
As part of the "17th International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference" in Istanbul intensified Prof. Bongards, head of the research group GECO►C, and his employee Dipl.-Ing. Gül Yildirim their previous contacts with Turkish companies. In the form of so-called "match-makings", 20-minutes meetings between interested companies have deepened existing relationships and established new contacts. "At our table was never a dull moment", Prof. Bongards was glad. Discussions with various industry partners focused on the areas of wastewater treatment and biogas plants, both subject areas in which the working group GECO►C expand research.
In the other course of her Turkey visit the inspection of a biological sewage arrangement stood still on the program. ISKI is the operator of the wastewater treatment plant, the state organization for water supply and sewage in Istanbul, and the researcher from Gummersbach since the spring already known. The inspection as well as a subsequent meeting in the technological university served the intensification of existing contacts..
