25.-27.04.2012: The 18th International Energy & Environment Fair and Conference
The ICCI 2012 Exhibition and Conference presented a general outlook on the energy sector world-wide and especially in Turkey. And accordingly, issues such as Liberalisation and Re-structuring in the development of energy, offer and demand, as well as EU energy policy, were dealt. Furthermore, there were technical matters dealt: both at national and international level. These included for example themes like cogeneration, high efficiency technologies for energy generation, energy plants, renewable energies, waste management, recycling systems and environmental technologies.
The underlying mechanism of networking led not only to refresh existing contacts, but it was also the opportunity for Prof. Bongards to establish new contacts in the field of renewable energies. These research topics are mainly interesting for the :metabolon project and they also offer new ideas for future research areas for the ambitious research group GECO►C.
