Semizentral – Resource-efficient and flexible supply and disposal infrastructure for rapidly growing cities of the future
This is a collaborative project between German and Chinese partners at which systems of wastewater management and renewable energy production are combined. The concept is to be implemented "semi central" for water supply as well as to the sewage disposal in real scale in a development area in China.
Aim is the proof that this concept is principle suitable as a resource efficient and flexible infrastructure system for rapidly growing cities. The working group GECO►C takes on the development and implementation of a simulation model with subsequent optimization and control of the biogas plant integrates into the supply and disposal center. Thus, the researchers are responsible for an essential part of the automation tasks to the durably stable and safe operation of the biogas plant.
