22.04.2009: FERCHAU-Innovtation Price – GECO ►C team books the third place
Within the scope of the Hannover Fair the engineer's service provider Ferchau Ingineering, Gummersbach, has awarded the Ferchau Innovation Price for the second time. The members of the GECO►C team have received the third place for the development of their Software-Agent System for the regulation of a Sewage System. Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Stockmann, Dipl.-Inform. Oliver Trauer, Dipl.-Ing. Peter Kern and Dipl.-Ing. Christian Wolf were awarded.
„It is great if innovations are appreciated,“ means Prof. Dr. Michael Bongards, the head of the working group GECO►C. „Above all if it happens in such an exclusive frame like the Hannover Fair.“ The members of his team have developed an innovative solution in connection with the control of a Sewage System: The control occurs by using the software agents who can react adaptive to changed conditions. Development and implementation occurred through the members of the Gummersbach research group.
